Support our Firefighters
The Harrisonburg Fire Department created the Harrisonburg Professional Firefighters Foundation to help any local firefighter or first responder in need. The Foundation exists so they can have funds available at a moment’s notice if any first responder is in need. The Harrisonburg Professional Firefighters Foundation can provide immediate funds, whether it be transportation for their family, a hotel room, an emergency room bill, or other support to help enable the Harrisonburg Fire Department to be able to help protect our community at all times.
How your support has impacted our Firefighters
Since 2020, The Harrisonburg Professional Firefighters Foundation has been taking care of it's own. Whether it was for medical, placement or other support, we are there to support our community.
